PREX held a seminar from July 3-12, 2012, in Japan for eight executives of the Shaanxi Weizhi Group Co., where a PREX alumni serves as company president.

PREX has an alumni organization formed mainly from people, in 13 countries and territories, who participated in PREX seminars in Japan. Recently, there was a request from a Chinese alumni member who was in the 2006 JICA China Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Seminar Course to hold a seminar for corporate executives at Shaanxi Weizhi Group Co., where he is president. With more than 1,500 employees, the Group comprises subsidiaries engaged in such areas as clothing, real estate and property and business management. The Group’s central business is clothing. This last seminar was conducted with the aim of teaching executives of the clothing subsidiary about corporate management as well as marketing and brand management for the clothing industry.

The costs were covered entirely by the Chinese side. This was the first seminar for PREX for employees connected to a business run by a PREX alumni.
