【Warm Message from past participant in Canbodia】 The Covid-19 cannot stop us from growing.

Here, we would like to introduce message from Mr.  Rachana LUX of Council for the Development of Cambodia(2019)
He has participated in the program, “Capacity Development for Investment Promotion(A)” in 2019 organized by Japan International Agency(JICA). 
We PREX is implementing body of this program. 

He has been working for Council for the Development of Cambodia. And sent us message to share the information about current situation in Cambodia and his work after coming back from JICA Program in Japan.

Note: This message was sent in January. Hence there might be some change about numbers and situation mentioned in the message.

Greetings from the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC)!

Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 all of us have experienced an unprecedented shift in every aspect of life and we have started to live our lives in the New Normal ever since.

However, the pandemic has not stopped my institution from performing its duties. In fact, the CDC has been able to carry out its daily activities through the launch of online public services, Zoom meetings/seminars and such.
Speaking of bilateral investment agreement, in the framework of after-care services for investors, last year the CDC successfully organized the 19th and 20th Cambodia-Japan Public-Private Sector Meetings held under the agreement between Cambodia and Japan for the Liberalization, Promotion and Protection of Investment.

The Covid-19 cannot stop us from growing. We will continue to join hands physically and virtually, and strive for a brighter world in the years to come.
