I am Imad Haidar from Syria.
Visiting Shinsei Shika Kogyo Co., Ltd.
I am so grateful that Shinsei Shika Kogyo Co., Ltd. welcomed us, when I participated in the training course in Japan. It is very important to see at first hand and understand how kaizen activities are implemented. Through what I have learned from Japanese companies (offices, sites and factories), I began to think that it is essential for me to implement kaizen activities and to share them with other people. I also believe that that is what lecturers in the training courses and people from the companies we visited, including Chairman Yoshida,wanted to tell us. I have recently lectured at the University of Damascus. I have been telling Syrian young people about the idea of Fukuzawa Yukichi, “The pen is mightier than the sword.”
Professor Minagawa’s Comment
You have faithfully been developing in Syria what you had learned in Japan. It has been a few years since you were in the training course in Japan, so I hope to see some more improvement.
