Torishima Pump Mfg. Co., Ltd. Manufacturer of the high-efficiency eco-pump

Torishima Pump Mfg. Co., Ltd. was founded in 1919 and is a pump manufacturer with its head office in Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture. Its core business, manufacturing and sales of high-efficiency pumps, has expanded worldwide. In addition to standalone pumps, Torishima Pump has also been involved in water facility projects and has established service networks in seven places worldwide. In the training program, we asked the company to tell us about their high-efficiency eco-pump. Participants learned about energy conservation and CO2 reduction in plants and other facilities and case studies on how to contribute to environmental conservation.

Daikin Solution Plaza “fuha:OSAKA” Determination and technology to conserve energy without compromising comfort

Daikin Solution Plaza “fuha:OSAKA” is a showroom where one can directly experience Daikin Industries’ air-conditioning and heating equipment as well as the technology used. Participants learned about Daikin Industries’ determination and technological ability to conserve energy without compromising comfort. Daikin presented case studies about introducing products overseas and taught participants specific ways in which they could introduce energy-efficient products in their own countries. Bizen Green Energy Co., Ltd. Environment and energy consultants

Bizen Green Energy Co., Ltd. was founded in 2005 in Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture. Ten consultants promote integrated energy conservation and achieving zero emissions at business sites through methods such as solar energy and biomass energy. In the training program, we heard from them about their experiences in the consulting business, as well as Japan’s state of energy conservation from the perspective of a private enterprise. Rematec R&D Co., Ltd. Technology for recycling waste into energy

Rematec R&D Co., Ltd. is contributing to resolving environmental challenges by processing and recycling waste from various places such as industries, general households, and disaster sites. During the energy conservation training program, participants visited Rematec’s factory in Kishiwada City, Osaka Prefecture, where they were introduced to recycled fuel (RF) produced from industrial waste, as well as biogas power generation systems which use organic waste. Participants showed strong interest in technology that recycles waste into energy.
