Focused on food products processed from soybean — Delivering flavor and safety

This company is intently continuing its business in processed food made from soybean, including tofu, fried tofu and other food. It marked its 50 th anniversary in 2007. Rather than traditional products, it focuses its efforts into developing new ones. The company kindly allowed us to visit its headquarters and its Ikejiri factory, which have acquired Hyogo Prefecture’s version of HACCP, during the “Guangdong Province Grassroots Technical Cooperation Program.” The seminar participants were introduced to efforts for hygienic production, covering the entire process from the selection of raw materials to shipment of finished products. After the field trips ended, the participants were treated to samples of the company’s new products, in addition to delicious tofu. Everyone enjoyed smoked low-calorie tofu, a perfect snack, cheese in tofu, tofu-mochi that gives a pleasurable sensation when eaten and healthy soybean milk dressing containing roasted sesame seeds. We were able to visit all three times the seminars were implemented. Company employees always offered a warm greeting and cordially provided explanations, even when they were busy. The healthy tofu products made by the employees’ gentle hands and processes that reflect scrupulous hygiene management will be sure to continue to win the affection of many more people in the future.
