前田（智）　-退職のご挨拶-

2019年4月の入局から4年間PREXで働かせていただきましたが、3月末をもちまして退職することになりました。

中小業振興政策、投資促進、アフリカ貿易投資、立命館大学研修、JDS留学生向け研修、ドンナイ省モノづくり人材育成事業、関経連ASEAN研修など様々な研修に携わらせていただき、多くの講師、訪問機関、研修参加者の方々、そしてPREXの同僚から学びを得ることができました。
また、アフリカコラムを書いたり、Facebook liveをやってみたり、研修以外の業務にもチャレンジしました。
自分が思い描いているように仕事をうまく回せず迷惑もおかけしましたが、いつも私のトライ＆エラーを見守り、励ましてくださった皆様にとても感謝しています。

PREXでの学びを生かして、次年度はケニア共和国・モンバサに拠点を移し、観光系事業や企業支援に従事する予定です。
また、個人的にはPREXに入る前から妄想していた探究プロジェクトも実施してみたいですし、アフリカのあらゆる産業に従事するヒトにインタビューをして、小さなドキュメンタリーも作成しながら、アフリカの未来を共創できる橋渡し役になれたらと夢見ています。

I, Chiho MAEDA, decided to leave PREX.
My 4 years PREX days were very fruitful. During various theme training program, I got full of knowledge and experiences from lecturers, PREX members and of course our program participants. This must be my basement of my future carrier. I appreciate your wonderful support and encouragement!
As my next step. I’m going to shift to Mombasa, coast side of Kenya, and belong to tourism business and business support for overseas expansion mainly toward Africa.
Also, I would like to create youth empowerment programs as I did in PREX and to make short documentaries for showing Africa economically and socially. Then, it is my pressure if I can be a bridge of future co-creation. Tackling of unemployment issue in Africa with Africans is one of my biggest dreams since I joined PREX, so I’m so excited and energetic now.

I would love to have dialogue with you even though I quit PREX, so don’t hesitate to contact me anytime.
