Job currently engaging

I am from Montenegro, working currently at the Montenegrin Investment Agency.
My role is all about driving economic growth by encouraging both foreign and domestic investments in Montenegro.
I focus on promoting the country as a prime destination for investors, helping them understand market conditions, regulations, and the opportunities available.
I’m also involved in supporting investment projects and providing guidance on investment policies to ensure everything aligns with our national economic goals.
Additionally, I work closely with international partners to further enhance Montenegro’s investment climate and create strong global connections.

Main goal of Montenegro

Montenegro’s main goal is to become the 28th member of the EU by 2028, and the government is currently working hard to make that happen, introducing many reforms across various sectors.
There is optimism among citizens that achieving this goal by 2028 is possible, and positive signals are also coming from the European Union itself.

Impression of the program and continuous communication with other participants

In 2019, I had the privilege of participating in the “Capacity Development for Investment Promotion(B)” program organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
This experience was invaluable, not only in terms of gaining practical knowledge in investment promotion but also in building a network of like-minded professionals from across the world.

The friendships I built during the JICA program have proven to be lasting. In fact, I’ve had the chance to reconnect with one of the participants from Georgia on two occasions.
First, we met in London, and later I had the opportunity to visit her in her hometown, Tbilisi.
These experiences have reinforced the value of the program, not just professionally, but personally, as it has opened doors to meaningful connections and lifelong friendships.

After completing the program, I had the opportunity to present its benefits to my colleagues at the Montenegrin Investment Agency.
The insights and experiences I gained were well received and as a result, one of my colleagues participated in the same program last year.

Message to PREX

In the end, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to PREX on their upcoming 35th anniversary next year.
It’s a remarkable milestone, and I wish them continued success in their important work.
May they keep up the great efforts in fostering international collaboration and capacity building, as they have positively impacted so many professionals around the world, myself included.
