Column by the PREX staff ”Thank you and let’s please keep in touch!” Meiji

I am Meiji, and I have been in the International Department of PREX for four years.

At the end of this June, I have left Pacific Resource Exchange Center and returned to my original post at Daikin Industries, Ltd. I worked for PREX for four years, and during my work there, I was in charge of many seminars in Japan and overseas countries like seminars provided by experts from Japan in Ukraine, Projects in Dong Nai Province and Binh Phuoc Province in Vietnam.

During the courses in Japan, I learned a lot of things through discussions with participants coming from various countries, gained a many new ideas in various fields throuhgh company’s visits and lectures. Those are the things I cannot learn from my ordinary working life.

On the seminars in Ukraine and Vietnam, I experienced how to review objectively and restructured the way of thinking that were common in Japan. This process was necessary to explain some Japanese companies’ approaches such as 5S to the foreign country’s people who have different background. I could reorganize my thoughts in many aspects through these experiences

Moreover on the support for overseas business of private enterprises, I met passionate people aiming for global business development, and they influenced me a lot.
Each of those are very valuable learning for me.

I could have a fulfilling four years with such the opportunity. I would like to cooperate to have good relationship other countries and Japan in a different way even after coming back to my original position.

I would like to express sincere gratitude who met in many activities during my work in PREX.
Please keep in touch with me even after I left.

Thank you so much and wish everybody’s success in future. See you again.
