I would like to inform you about the Action plan implementation
According to my presentation “Action Plan” slide №7 “Establishing the energy efficiency and environmental policy in the company”, we are working on implementing an energy management systems in line with ISO 50001 in our company.
The key principles of the energy policy to be follow by all company’s workers are already established and signed by our chief. The whole staff has been informed.
It is interesting to mark one thing which we promote within the policy: it is an ECODRIVING initiative which me and my chief learned in Japan during the JICA course.
By our chief initiative we implemented a GPS-system to optimize our vehicles energy consumption preventing unnecessary high-speed driving, acceleration and deceleration.
Now we have prepared a special article about ECODRIVING using Japanese materials to be published in our famous newspapers and web-sites in order to build people awareness in this issue.
In 17th of May we are going to conduct a workshop for our company’s drivers to explain them how to save fuel by changing the way of driving and to describe them Japanese experience. I will share photos from the seminar with you.
It is well known that improving energy efficiency contributes mitigation climate change, so doing the above-mentioned work we cover environment issues also!!!
