The company that “turns ideas into reality” opens bases in Vietnam, too.
Techno Global Corp., in Yao City, is a company with strengths in high technology and consistent production, primarily in design of and support for plastic products, and manufacturing and forming of metal molds. This summer, it established factories in Dong Nai Province and Ho Chi Minh City. It specially selected a Vietnamese employee in his second year of working for the company and dispatched him there as a person in charge. In October, Techno Global held the Human Resource Development for Manufacturing seminar in Dong Nai Province. Staff from the administrative office of the industrial complex in Dong Nai Province and teachers from the university and the vocational junior college visited the company for a field trip of Japanese manufacturing companies’ work sites. They heard about how the company had begun activities in Dong Nai Province this year. Expectations are that these seminar participants will be able to cooperate with Techno Global.
PREX launched its Management Training Program for Vietnamese Staff Working at SMEs in Kansai in July in which the abovementioned Vietnamese employee took part. For 10 full days he applied himself to learning the kind of thinking required of administrators and from examples of other companies. It is hoped that what he learned from the seminar, in addition to his experience to date, will be of use in his onsite management.
