What is an Alumni Association?
Since its establishment in April 1990, PREX has been engaging in various projects for human resource development in developing countries in an endeavor to promote international human resource exchanges. PREX has organized and run 462seminars and received 13,172 participants from 126 countries/regions in cumulative total 4,096 for seminars held in Japan and 9,076 for overseas seminars) as of April 2010. Based on these activities, alumni societies have been established representing 13 countries/regions : Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Chongqing, Mongolia, Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan) ,Mexico,Myanmar and Laos in particularly by those invited to Japan to attend seminars.

The purposes of the Alumni Associations
1)  To form a community of friends under the PREX name,
2)  To get to know each other better through Association activities,
3)  To promote communication,
4)  To act as a window for suggestions to PREX on how to improve the curriculum,
5)   To orient participants on PREX seminars prior to their departure,
6)  To help sort our anything else that occurs, and
7)  PREX will serve as an information center between the Alumni Associations.
